During the planning phase, I had been worried there wouldn't be enough food but it turned out just right--a 3-foot party sub and a veggie platter plus a fruit tray and four big bags of chips seemed to be the right balance. I'm impressed that all the fruit and veggies (well, except for the broccoli) was eaten. And there were just a few chip crumbs left.
The custodians came around just as the wind was leaving my sails and suggested that we wrap up the party at 10, when the custodial crew was leaving, instead of our scheduled 11 pm. Honestly, I was glad to be done early. That much commotion--killer Uno, competitive twister and other games plus loud music did me in.
It was a great way to kick off the holiday weekend.

OK, I will bite... what is Apples to Apples?
And thanks for being such a good ally.
I love Apples to Apples! It's in my top 3 of games. New challenge to self: find a group of people who will play it with me.
Your party sounds like a lot of fun - way to go, Dude!
(couldn't resist - sorry (but not enough to remove it))
