- Java. Made a most excellent cup of coffee in my little coffee maker at school. One cup is all I need.
- Hugs. Yeah, I know it's probably really "wrong" to hug students but when they come flying at me with their arms wide open it's hard to say no. I got a bunch of hugs today.
- Money in the bank. The stimulus has arrived!
- Pizza night!!!!!!!
- Great conversation. After school the gents of my department and I hung out and talked politics, school, schedules and everything in between. It was a great conversation.
- Laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. Sometimes the students say things to each other that are absolutely genuinely hilarious. And to repeat the whole story would make you wonder how it is funny.
- Good moods. Seems like everyone was in a good mood, despite the dreary weather. Cheerful faces in the morning and general silliness after school.
- Lunch. I spent time by myself at lunch, snarfed down my favorite Smart Ones frozen entree and generally was productive. A great way to recharge in the middle of a busy day.
- Books. Two colleagues lent books to me and I can't wait to get into them. One is a mystery series that I don't remember the name of and the other is the sequel to Pillars of The Earth by Ken Follet.
- American Idol is on tonight. And it's Neil Diamond night!

GREAT list!
I'm so with you on #6 - both my students, my children, AND my husband make me laugh on a regular basis, but half the stuff is only funny because we've got history, you know?
Oh, wasn't Idol fun tonight? I LOVED Paula reviewing (or previewing) performances that hadn't happened yet. While I missed Carly and her big voice, I have finally been won over to the David Cook camp.
Let us know what the mystery series is, and if it's any good. I love series.
