thursday threesome
Onesome: Insomnia-- Ever have it? Some do and some don't, but have you ever been hounded awake for that endless hour after hour with no hope of sleep? ...or does the very act of touching head to pillow put you out for the count? I suffered from insomnia for years. And I mean YEARS.
Twosome: the cure-- Hey, if you do have the occasional bout or chronic insomnia, what do you do about it? Work? Read? Try cures? Hmmm... Did you ever find one that worked? What finally worked for me was shift work where I had to be at work at 4 o'clock in the morning until around 11 o'clock. My internal clock got re-set once I stopped working those crazy shifts. But what helped was going to sleep and getting up at the same time every day. That's my pattern now and it helps.
Threesome: for sleep-- Female/male, young/not so young, we all need varying amounts of sleep. What's your personal sleep cycle? Five hours? Ten hours? ...and if you had a choice, what would be your personal sleep cycle? ...and yes, "All day long" is a valid answer *g*
I'm funcional at 5 hours, I find as I get older (yeesh) I do need/want more sleep. Optimum is seven hours.

I sleep more now than I used to.
The hubby doesn't sleep as much as I do.
I also love to dream. I actually have a dream journal on my bedside table.
