I'm getting my cable back on Saturday. At approximately 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The experiment has gone better than I expected and I can, in fact, survive without television for more than a month. I think I've broken the habit of mindless watching in this reprieve. But there certainly have been times when I wish I could numb out in front of the tube.
