thursday bug

Sometimes it helps to share with others what bugs your mind.
They may have a solution, a kind word, or a smile of encouragement.
This week my thursday bug is:

It bugs me that I asked the teacher next door to quiet down and they didn't, they seemed to get even louder. I mean, we're studying the Holocaust and there's barking laughter and squeals coming through the wall. grrrrr. I was even very nice when I asked.

HEY! Write to me about your Holocaust study, please!!

I've got a colleague who teaches criminology at TCC. He's got a very low, but very LOUD voice, and we're often only separated by an accordion-wall. No amount of asking him to quiet down helps, and it's tough to teach things like adverb placement and punctuation when he's droning on about sexual assault statues...

Ick! Your neighbor was so inappropriate and insensitive. You know, even though I'm way, way past school age, I still have this image of teachers as all being on the same side, supporting one another. Old perceptions die hard.
