It was eighteen below zero when I left the house this morning. Funny how first thing in the morning it was colder out but less windy. Coming back, there were some whiteouts and I was glad I had just driven the road to refresh myself as it's not a route I take very often. If it hadn't been so cold (twenty five below with the wind chill) I would have stopped a couple of places to take pictures. It was just tooooo darn cold today, though.
These temperatures are what I don't like about living in the Great White North.
The little road trip I took helped my new car turn 30,000 miles old. It felt like quite a milestone.

It's not QUITE so cold a little south of your Great White North, but it's still pretty frickin' frigid. I don't like it. I grit my teeth and endure three months of New England's year, and I just keep telling myself lately that we're about halfway through....we're about halfway through...
