just another manic monday...

Which sex do you think has it easier in our culture? Have you ever wished you were the opposite sex? Neither gender has a field day, to be honest. There are a lot of times I think men have it easier, but the expectations on men are more subtle than expectations on women. So, now my answer is neither. And I haven't ever wanted to be the opposite gender, unless I am travelling and have to pee. :-)
What books from your childhood would you like to share with your children? Oh, probably the Laura Ingells Wilder series... there are so many great new books, I would just as soon pass along a love of reading than books from my childhood that seem dated today (like Trixie Beldon, Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys).
What is one talent or skill you don't possess but always wanted? I wish I enjoyed athletics--that I was good at sports and enjoyed playing them...but I don't

You're the first to say neither sex has the advantage. Me? I still have to say the men. The mention of Laura Ingalls Wilder made me think of Anne of Green Gables also. I was never any good at sports and don't really want to try it out. I will stick to learning how to dance, draw, paint, etc. Happy MM. Have a nice day.

My son loved The Hardy Boys when he was younger. I guess you can never go wrong with the classics-- their timelessness shows through.

Thanks for playing MM and have a great week.

Love all your books! I agree on the gender thing too. It isn't a picnic either way.
