holidailies

I joined a new challenge called Holidailies... to blog every day from December 1st until January 1st.

Book group met after school today. None of us had finished the book but we are loving it; and to the person can't wait to continue reading and discussing it. Historical fiction, categorized as Young Adult Literature but it has sophisticated language and imagery that we were surprised. This is the type of book that must be savored. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is such a wonderfully rich book, I hate to think its readership is limited by the YA label.

On deck is a cozy mystery: Norway to Hide (part of the Passport to Peril series) by Maddy Hunter.

Also on the TBR: The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, The Bookseller of Kabul by Asne Seierstadt, the rest of the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz, Sex Wars: a novel of Guilded Age New York by Marge Peircy, and a couple of Paul Coelho books.

So many books, so little time.
