I joined a challenge called Holidailies... to blog every day from December 1st until January 1st.
My favorite holiday movies:
Elf--it was the first Will Ferrell movie I saw and I believed him in that role. Completely bought him as Buddy the Elf.
Christmas Vacation--it's slapstick, schtick, corny, and hilarious.
Miracle on 34th Street--(the 1994 remake) Dylan McDermott. 'Nuf said.
Miracle on 34th Street--(1947 original) the courtroom scene gets me every time! Natalie Wood is just precious.
A Christmas Carol--(1984) George C. Scott was riveting!
The Homecoming: A Christmas Story--an introduction to The Waltons. *sigh*
What are yours?

There's an ancient made for TV holiday movie that I loved -- The Gathering. It's about a dysfunctional family getting together for one last, poignant Christmas. And Elf is my favorite new Christmas movie. I relate to Buddy. "I'll call you in 5 minutes. I painted a butterfly. I love you. I tuned the piano." Yeah, I love Buddy.
