not only monday, but...

The day I dread is... tomorrow.

Parent Teacher Conferences.

Dread.

Never the parents I need or want to speak with and those who come don't really want to creat strategies for performance behavior.

Too many hours of down time. No appointments are made so it's hit or miss and sometimes it's hithithit.

We need a new system. For some reason the powers that be don't seem to take our suggestions.

I'm not used to, nor do I enjoy, 10:30-8:30.

Did I mention dread?

You need the teacher's version of Code Pink. They're not getting the troops brought home but this is for sure -- they definitely get their point across.

If there's a better way for the parent-teacher conferences to work, then it sounds like the powers that be -- THE TEACHERS -- need to try harder to get them to work better.

My hubby used to be a public school teacher and he hated it. I hated going to the conferences because the parents were all snobby. Of course their child could do nothing wrong and my hubby was the bad guy if the child had behavioral problems or bad grades. Needless to say, he is no longer a teacher and we homeschool our two girls. It was just way too much for us! LOL!
