1. Which is nobler: personal accountability or self-sacrifice? sometimes personal accountability and self-sacrifice are intertwined so tightly that one cannot be thought of without the other. To me, personal accountability is what I strive for more than self-sacrifice.
2. Do you believe in individual freedom? What does it mean to you? Individual freedom means the ability to live peacefully within the limits of the law. As long as my exercise of personal freedoms doesn't infringe on someone else's freedoms then I am all for it.
3. Name one cause you believe in very strongly. How do you show your support? Well... I am faculty advisor for the Civil Rights Team, and I strive to walk the talk. I try to be a role model for students at school--to be a role model for other adults, too. I especially feel passionate about the rights of everyone to marry or to love whomever they choose to love. Often, I am "asked" if I am gay and it simply doesn't matter. What I typically ask is if it's an offer for sex... and then gently turn the asker down. ;-)
