Is there a word that means "girl cat"? If so, you're right: we should be consistent. The meow/hiss is all about catfighting, which IMHO women are good at, and in my experience it's a pretty good description of how women fight. I also think, generally, that women and cats share a lot of behaviors and personality characteristics.
I thought the men refer themselves as dog. In the subways and trains this is the word I keep hearing when guys (not all)talking among themselves. I wonder do dogs (real dogs) bother to watch cats(real cats) fight?
