My sweet car was a '96 Ford Taurus with 124,600k miles and with a heavy duty winter predicted, I was getting nervous. Knowing I fret and worry and obsess, I was not so sure my car could make it through the winter.
I looked online at a local car dealership and saw a great deal on a shipment of the 2007 Ford Taurus and decided to look closer... Suffice it to say, I shopped online for my car. After about two hours on the phone with a variety of sales managers, we finally came up with a great plan... and they agreed to accept my sweet car as a trade in. They delivered the car to my home, I filled out the paperwork in about fifteen minutes, and voila... I have a new car!!!
Holy moly... I'll get some photos tomorrow, because I had some errands to do I wasn't able to take photos right then and there. That was the only drawback, because I was tied to the phone all day I couldn't do what I had to do... but... oh my gosh... what have I done?? What has gotten into me??
How can I top this fun???

Aw, shit! We're scheduled for a heavy-duty winter?! Dammit!
I was hoping we'd have another dud like last year - cold, but not stupid cold, and without a whole lot of precipitation. Not so much, according to what you've heard? Crap.
Grrr. I guess I'd better buy new tires....
Sorry - in all that bitching, I forgot to give you congrats on the new car! I'll look forward to pictures!
