1. When were you the coldest you’ve ever been? there was a winter, maybe three years ago, that had wind chills around sixty-below (yes, you read that correctly, sixty below zero) and school was canceled because it was unsafe to have children waiting outside for busses. In my whole life, we have never canceled school because it's too cold outside. So, that was the coldest.
2. When were you the hottest you’ve ever been? I don't like hot, so every time I am hot it seems like I'm the hottest I've ever been. Aruba is the closest I've been to the Equator, though. It wasn't so bad because there was a constant ocean breeze.
3. When were you the tiredest you’ve ever been? while taking Coumadin last year... that is the tiredest I've ever been. Going to sleep at 5:30 pm and sleeping through my 5:30 alarm--and napping right after school, during school, in the car before driving home... I was just worn out. It was reminiscent of when I had mono, in high school, when I was so tired I would stare at the blank TV--without realizing it wasn't on. I have never felt like that and hope to never feel like that again!!
4. When were you the most stressed you’ve ever been? probably being subpoenaed to court just after Thanksgiving in 2004--and prepping to appear in court, appearing in court on December 23. Or, maybe it was when my tires were slashed the January after going to court. Or, maybe it was the threat to my life in April; and going through the process of having a restraining order placed against that student--and the expulsion process. Yeah... that was some school year. I lived in dread and fear. (the following September, I got a "to go" cup of coffee and when I went to sip, it steamed up my glasses which caused me to have a flashback of the April threat--that student was so close to me, he steamed up my glasses--and that began more pronounced OCD and my journed in therapy.)
5. When were you the dirtiest you’ve ever been? Ahhh, like any kid growing up in Northern Maine, I picked potatoes during Harvest Break. From sun up to sun down. The dirt is in EVERY part of your body, every pore...
