1. You witness a nonfatal car wreck, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on? This might sound odd, but it depends on the type of wreck and if there are a lot of other vehicles around. If it's the middle of winter during a white-out, it would be more dangerous for me to stop. I can offer moral support but I sure can't be of much help in a mechanical sense. I would definitely call 911.
2. You witness a robbery, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on? I would call 911. If someone is desperate enough to rob, I wouldn't want to stand in their way.
3. You see a child who appears to be lost or hurt, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on? Oh, I definitely ask if I can help and call 911.
4. You hear a person yelling for help, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on? If it's the skateboard kids across the street I would double check out the window to see if there is a *real* injury, a real need for help. Sometimes they yelp and ask for help and then hop back on their boards just as I'm about to call an ambulance. So, I guess I would assess the situation and act accordingly.
5. You see a fire in your neighborhood, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on? This is tricky--there are lots of times people are burning leaves or clippings and it can appear that it's a roaring fire, when in fact it is a planned burn. But, really, of course I would at the very least call 911.

What would ANY of us do in those situations?
I really can't say for certain unless I'm actually in them, you know?
