7 Random Facts About Me
- Summer is a rotten time of year for me, I hate humidity and heat, I don't like going out in the sun (but I do like the sun) ... I hate bugs... you know, that kind of stuff. I like 70s with a breeze, sitting in the shade.
- Since childhood, I have had insomnia--even as a wee one, I didn't sleep all that much. About ten years ago my doctor suggested going to bed and getting up at the same time daily and that has made a tremendous difference. Although, to be honest, getting older probably had much more to do with it.
- I got over my phobia of hospitals because of my week-long stint in the hospital last summer. I am very thankful that my admitting doctor could tell I was panicky and ordered me a private room.
- It doesn't bother me to do things by myself--like going places or having a meal. Which is a good thing, since if I did not do things by myself I would not do much.
- I have an excellent eye for coordinating colors--putting together outfits is so much fun.
- My secret wish is to be a personal shopper--especially at the holidays. That would be the most fun!
- I always thought I had a low tolerance for pain. But after my hospital experience last summer, I've been told that it's the opposite. I am still a big baby, though.

I do the alone thing too. I prefer to go alone to movies or stores. It's just nice to not have to have someone constantly yapping in the ear.
