movie meme

from MySpace (but don't go thinking I want friends on MySpace, it's for students, former students and local bands)

Popcorn or Candy? actually, I like taking frozen grapes. The popcorn is usually stale so they over salt & butter it so it doesn't even taste like popcorn. bleh. And the candy is ridiculously priced. So, I take grapes. I don't feel guilty because there aren't any healthy snacks at our local theaters. If they had healthy stuff, I'd buy it there.

Name a movie you've been meaning to see forever. The Departed. The 40-Year Old Virgin. Gone With The Wind.

Steal one costume from a movie for your wardrobe. Batman's cape.

Your favorite film franchise is: Favorite because it's fun or favorite because it's good?? Uhmmm... The Godfather movies are the best series of films. EVER.

Invite five movie characters over for dinner. Who are they? Why'd you invite them? What do you feed them?

1) Danny Ocean (played by George Clooney in the "Ocean's movies")... talk about a good time.

2) Loretta Castorini (played by Cher in "Moonstruck") She was hopeful, vibrant and came with a crazy family.

3) Cassiel (played by Andre Braugher in City of Angels) A complex angel with interesting insights.

4) Arthur Selwyn (played by Don Ameche in "Coccoon) Every dinner table needs a storyteller!

5) Princess Ann (played by Audrey Hepburn in "Roman Holiday") We need an icon, a princess.

Dinner should be something light, flavorful and not messy. We should be able to chatter without splatter. And a dessert to die for.

What is the appropriate punishment for people who answer cell phones in the movie theater? I WANT MY MONEY BACK, BITCH!

Choose a female bodyguard:
Maggie Hayward/Claudia Anne Doran/Nina (played by Bridget Fonda in "Point of No Return"

What's the scariest thing you've ever seen in a movie? oh, I've seen some torture things that were just horrific, especially recreations of historical events (like the beginning of Saving Private Ryan)

Your favorite genre (excluding "comedy" and "drama") I like a thriller or a biopic--uhm, dramedy??

You are given the power to greenlight movies at a major studio for one year. How do you wield this power? I would make more challenging movies, fewer remakes, fewer cheap sequels that aren't up to the original's standards, and I would show more realistic portraits of what groups of people are like. It would be fun to go back to storytelling instead of effects-heavy movies.

Bonnie or Clyde? Great googley moogley--Clyde!!
