friday's feast

feast one hundred & fifty-two

Appetizer On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being highest) how much do enjoy watching sports on television? depends on the sport, of course, but... 8

Soup If you could completely memorize any one work of fiction, which one would you pick? This is an especially difficult question... I'd like to memorize something that is storytelling and family-friendly, so I guess I'll pick The Princess Bride. A good tale of love, adventure and... everyting else.

Salad What is your favorite breakfast food? I'm not terribly fussy about breakfast, which is amazing because I am terribly fussy in general. I prefer breakfast I don't have to prepare for myself.

Main Course Name something fun you can do for less than $10.00. If I'm by myself, I'd take a lil' road trip around The County. Or rent a couple of movies, nah, I usually watch Dad's movies. Get an iced coffee and sit and read? Gee, I donno, if it has to be an actual activity that's outside of my normal things--I used to use my wonder bubble wand a lot, that was always fun to go to the park and make ginormous bubbles... I can do a lot on $10.

Dessert How long does it usually take you to fall asleep? By the time I turn the light out, probably five minutes. However, staying asleep is the problem.

I'm reading "The Princess Bride", now! I have never read it, but am certainly enjoying it.

"The Hubby" and I like to get iced coffees and read at the bookstore, too!

And what could be better than making bubbles?

Happy weekend!

This is the 2nd Princess Bride reference I've seen this week. It is about to have a 20 year anniversary extravaganza, you know. (the movie, not the book) I love the movie, but have never read the book, i guess i really should.

Bubble wand, eh? That'll get ya some weird looks.

Thanks for stopping by the Bitter Ball and commenting. It tends to be a lonely, bitter kind of place.

What a sweet idea about the bubbles. And I love The Princess Bride, esp. the ROUS's.

I tagged you on my blog ...
