w.w.w. wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at Should be Reading and revived here on Taking on a World of Words.

• What are you currently reading? I'm reading Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay and at school: I'm ditching Apostles of Disunion: Southern Secession Commissioners and the Causes of the Civil War by Charles B. Dew but picking up The Strategic Teacher by Harvey Silver and listening to Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch.

• What did you recently finish reading? I finished reading Before the Fall by Noah Hawley and listening to Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.

• What do you think you’ll read next? Either The Fireman by Joe Hill or The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead.

Underground Railroad looks promising (if I may cast a vote for that being your book). I find so much about the 1860s fascinating, and women's voices (certainly not slave women's voices) aren't always represented when I read about that time.
