Freeway of Love

1) In this song, Aretha's ideal car is a pink Caddy. What's your dream vehicle? a sleek deep green jaguar sedan

2) Have you ever owned a convertible? no, I've never even been tempted

3) Aretha longs to "drop the pedal and go." Are you a careful, conservative driver? Or do you enjoy going fast? I tend to go a little over the speed limit but I'm careful about it

4) Aretha's grandmother Rachel helped raise her. Tell us about one of your grandparents. as I get older, I appreciate my father's father more and more--he had a wicked sense of humor and as a child I didn't get it but as an adult he's hilarious!

5) Aretha played a waitress in the 1980 movie, The Blues Brothers. Have you ever worked in food service? in early college I worked at a local dairy bar--one of the busiest places in town (it still is) and then I worked for a local restaurant before I got my teaching job, I was a hostess, cashier, and waitress but I was not the best waitress, however I got really good tips because of my personality

6) Aretha was a chain smoker for decades and had a terrible time giving up cigarettes. What habit do you wish you could break? my laziness about the clutter

7) A sculpture of Aretha is at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in New York City. What's the last museum you visited? I can't even remember

8) Since Aretha has many honorary degrees, it would be appropriate to refer to her as Dr. Franklin. Who is the last person you addressed by his or her title (Officer, Father, Pastor, Dr., etc.)? if the title Condescending Bastard counts, that was just a couple weeks ago

9) The daughter of a minister, Aretha enjoys singing "church music" and her 1972 CD Amazing Grace is one of the best sellers in gospel music history. Do you have any gospel music on your phone, iPod or MP3 player? I have a gospel iTunes radio station in my list

Condescending Bastard! I am glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that. LOL.

Condescending Bastard does count, mostly because the person probably deserved it and partially because you spelled it correctly :)

Ugh! Clutter, my house is so bad I don't invite anyone in.

The thing about clutter is you become so blind to it. Clutter can become invisible, until you knock it over or trip on it.

You know I'm with you on the clutter. And how EXACTLY did the Condescending Bastard earn his title?
