I too am a Snuffy fan. My Mommy has stories of searching every store she could find for a Snuffy the year I asked for one. Every other kid wanted Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, or Cookie Monster. Not me. I wanted Snuffy. I settled for a Grover when she found out they didn't make Snuffys.
I was away at college when she found a miniature one. I think it was a Happy Meal toy. She bought it & sent it to me. Unfortunately, my roommate's 3 year old cousin came to visit a few months later & she accidentally ripped him. :(

I have a Grover that sits on my desk at work. :)
I, too, believed in Snuffy. But it was an offshoot of my fondness for Big Bird. I always felt bad that Mr. Hooper didn't believe him.
