Today's prompt: Today is the winter solstice - the 'shortest' day of the year for the northern hemisphere (the 'longest' for the southern). Do you do anything special to mark the occasion?
It's stormy and nasty today. I did get a new candle that I thought I would burn tonight, in honor of it being the longest night of the year.
Does the candle have significance or is it just to smell pretty? I guess you guys are getting hammered up your direction. We had ice, but not that much.
