Chattanooga Choo-Choo

1) Chattanooga is Tennessee's fourth largest city. Have you ever visited Tennessee? If so, where did you go and what did you see? I've never been but I'd love to go to Nashville and Dollywood and Graceland, too!

Since Glenn Miller's recording of "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" was awarded the first-ever gold record, we're going to devote the next questions to your firsts.

2) What was the first award or accolade you ever won? I won the part of Gretel in a community production of The Sound of Music when I was six (my dad was the music director and my mum was a nun)

3) We know about your blog. But which was the first social media site that you posted to? (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, MySpace ...) MySpace

4) Where did you go on your first plane ride? the destination was Philadelphia but I can't remember where we had a layover

5) Tell us about your first cell phone. it was a TracFone Kyocera

6) Tell us about your first tattoo: Where is it on your body? Where did you have it done? What does it depict? my first tattoo is a four-leaf clover on the inside of my left wrist and it was done by a talented artist who has since moved away--it is my reminder that I am lucky to be alive and I got it after having pulmonary emboli

7) How old were you when you had your first piercing? I graduated from the 8th grade--it was the same gift my older sisters received

8) What had you been drinking the first time you suffered a hangover? champagne toasts and then on to bottles of it on a New Year's Eve

9) Was your first ticket for parking or was it a moving violation? I've never gotten a ticket

Whoa... pulmonary embolism is serious stuff. I have a friend who had one and she was in the ICU for a week.

I love the photo of your family from the play

Those tracfones were a great idea. Oh, and New Years hangover's were exempt from this. It was part of the small print. Probably on a tattoo.

Gee, you were very sick. But I am not sure I would have risked an infection from a tat after that . . . glad you made it through both!

Love that family photo! It's so dear. (And how often does a girl get to say, "Mum was a nun?")
