I've outlived my father, and so I understand that's a big milestone. Heredity doesn't have to be destiny.

I wish you many many more birthday cakes 🎂!!
My first dwelling was a tiny studio in a triplex, so I need to change my answer. Bill paying on your own is a huge milestone.

I'm awaiting that "outlived my mom" milestone - it's just two years away. My father is still alive, and my grandmother is 97 and still alive, so who knows. The odds of a longer life are in my favor, I think.

I'm not sure we ever figure out life. We just sort of do it. None of the manuals I've ever bought have actually worked!

Living in Ireland must have been amazing.

Retired at 65...that would be nice, but also a big question mark for our generation. Sigh.
