What do you not understand?

I do not understand visionaries--be they artists, inventors, tinkerers, or what have you. I don't understand how the vision works--from a germinating idea to a finished product. When I read a book or use a piece of technology, I simply can't wrap my head around the vision and planning and foresight it takes to produce it. I am humbled by vision.
