focusing on peace

I've been participating in a world-wide peace knitting project. Although I put the actual pattern aside to do some other knitting, I have been mindful about peace and being in the moment. Today is a worldwide knit-in for peace. I haven't had a significant amount of time to knit (yet) today, but I have been sending out peace and love with each stitch. I joined the community on Ravelry (the fiber arts website) and have been following along with peace tips for the past 21 days. I haven't stressed myself out about knitting the actual project because I know I will finish it in my own time. I set it aside to knit gifts for a couple of people who need peace in their lives. My humble knit gifts will be given in a spirit of peace.

I'm amazed at how quickly the 21 days flew by.

That is so nice. Doing anything for peace these days sounds nice and we ALL need to do it. I bet your recipients will be thrilled. The knitted pieces I see are SO amazing. It's probably a great, warm hobby up in Maine. :)
