Ten things I'm looking forward to in 2016:
1) My Pennsylvania sister and her family's visit.
2) Meeting my great nephew Eli, son of my eldest Pennsylvania niece and her husband. I see pictures and video of him but have yet to get my hands on him!
3) My eldest local niece is going to have her second baby in July. Quite exciting.
4) Contract negotiations at school. I'm the Chief Negotiator for the Union and I'm looking forward to a relatively smooth process.
5) The Whoopie Pie Festival. Local sister and her youngest daughter are ready to roll with me again. It's become our tradition!
6) Seeing what kind of progress I can make in my reading goal. I'm excited for good books and discussions.
7) Getting my finances in order. It has been weighing on me for a few months and I need to get serious about.
8) Really good tv--like Downton Abbey's final season.
9) Knitting more challenging projects. I'd like to knit a sweater for Virginia sister.
10) Spending time with my friends. Hopefully I can take another trip to visit Piper at Chebeague Island.
