Linking up with Ten On Tuesday this week.
This week's topic is 10 Things You Are Thankful For Right Now.
1) I am thankful for my health and well-being. Even though I'm still awaiting colonoscopy results, I figure no news is good news--if there was a real emergency they would have contacted me by now.
2) I am thankful that my road trip to Central Maine was successful. No weather issues (even though there was snow when I woke up yesterday).
3) I am thankful for opportunities to grow professionally. Working on this Performance Based Curriculum on a state-wide level has been challenging in the very best of ways.
4) I am thankful for my family--far and near.
5) I am thankful for my friends--far and near.
6) I am thankful for reliable technology. My many modes of entertainment and communication are a blessing.
7) I am thankful that my landlord provides a safe and comfortable apartment building. And he's very laid back but would do anything for us.
8) I am thankful for my curiosity about the world--that I am interested in what's going on around me and meeting new people.
9) I am thankful for my students who keep me on my toes and keep me young.
10) I am thankful for the music I listened to on my road trip--Cool Yule and Adele 25.

I second 'no news is good news'! I hope that nothing unexpected shows up.
Your list is just great!
Have a very happy Thanksgiving!
What a varied an interesting list! I do feel for educators; it seems that there are often new ways proposed, and sometimes they turn out to simply be fads (Whole Language and Chicago Math?!) About a year ago I asked a teacher what Performance Based really meant in the classroom and she said it was about assessing students based on their performance on tests! That sounds like standards-based to me, so I don't think either one of us really understood it. I'm glad you're learning, growing, and enjoying it!
