Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• I’m currently reading…
• Up next I think I’ll read…
• I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
• I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I can’t wait to get a copy of…
• I wish I could read ___, but…
• I blogged about ____ this past week…

This week’s random question: Do you read any horror, or something scary, in honor of Halloween? Why, or why not?

Stephen King, the Master of Horror, is one of my very favorite authors! I regularly read his creepy, freaky, scary books. This year, though, I'm reading The Witch's Daughter by Paula Brackston as my Halloween book. I do like to read something spooky this time of year.

I stood outside his house in Maine once but do not read his books. No scary anything for me.

I don't like reading horror...but Stephen King is definitely the King of Horror. Enjoy your new one.

I used to read all of Stephen's books. Don't remember why I stopped. Might have to look at some of his more recent one!

I've never read Paula Brackston before but I have a few of her novels on my TBR pile. The Witch's Daughter seems like an inserting Halloween read. Enjoy! :)
