happy day 18

Day 18: It was above 90 degrees in my classroom today, and I had fans blasting. It was a workshop day and I didn't go home between the workshop session and the Freshman orientation. My sandwich is sitting like a lump in my stomach. I'm drenched with sweat, I'm smelly. It's starting to thunder. Tomorrow is the first day of school with students and it's expected to be hot again.

So, what makes me happy? Not much today, I'm afraid. I'm tired, grumpy, tired of people, my ankles and feet are swollen, I'm sticky from sweating, smelly, and my tummy hurts. But thinking of this challenge has brightened my mood. So cheers for being happy in August!

I'm sooo with you on this. Heat seems to have a far bigger and more negative impact on my mood than cold ever does.

But you deserve kudos for finding the pony in that barnfull of horseshit.

Oh bleah! That sounds like hell to me. Agree with Gal, I cannot stand the heat. There's only so much you can take off, right?

Hope today (Wednesday) was a little better!

Cheers to being Happy In August! The dog days of summer, a little late this year, seem to be upon us all!
