Do you keep a list of the books you’ve read? How? In a journal? Through one of the online services? If so, WHY? To keep good records for future reference? To make sure you don’t accidentally reread? If not, why not? Too eager to move on to the next book? Too lazy? Never thought to bother? From the archives.

When I started my blog, I would casually talk about books I'd read. Then I started making pages for my books, to keep blurbs or reviews of them so I wouldn't forget what I'd read and so I could look back on the year's reading. I got into Goodreads and their book challenges--and started formally keeping track of the books I read.

I started doing reviews on Amazon so I could remember which books I read. I highly recommend that everyone do it. If you get enough "likes," they invite you to join Amazon Vine and you get freebies in exchange for your reviews.

I use Goodreads, too. Though I may have to think about Gal's suggestion for Amazon.
