transportation

#livethankful

Living in the Great White North as I do, there is limited public transportation. Mostly it's for elderly or handicapped community members. And with our wicked winters, it's hard to go without. Trust me, I know.

Last month I hit this milestone on my odometer. And I am still grateful for my car. I picked it out online, got financing online, and even had the dealership deliver it to my house--exchanging my old car for this one. It's a 2007 Ford Taurus and I haven't had any problems with it. Thankfully. I am grateful that the two dealerships I take it to for servicing take good care of me and completely, thoroughly explain any work that needs to be done so I can make informed decisions.

I have been told that a good car, well taken care of, will last long into 200,000 miles. Can you imagine?

I used to think of you and your car like a cowgirl and her horse. But now I've got to contemporize that. After all, Annie Oakley didn't order her horse online.

So great that your car has been there for you.

I'm surprised you don't have four wheel drive up there in the great white north :)

Nothing like a good car....who needs the stress of something that is iffy. Our 2006 Mustang is still going strong, carrying Joe to school every day.

Even still, I can't wait until next year when we can finally get a second car!

On Election Day 2000, the odometer on my Honda hit 100,000 miles just as I parked in front of my townhouse. I didn't want to drive anywhere and change the number! LOL

I'm curious: what does the O stand for? My car has P, R, N, D, 2, and 1.
