Ten random things:
1) I'm sad that I have to cancel my massage appointment on Friday. Sad. Sad. Sad. But I can't get out of school early that day.
2) My classroom is ready for the first day with students, tomorrow!
3) My television watching is all screwed up because of back to school. Boo hiss.
4) I'm really quite excited to see my students. This group of seniors are special to me.
5) I got a new Ott Light that I need to assemble. The base of my old one dissolved--I mean, the cement crumbled. Very weird.
6) Knitting reduces stress. I need to knit more.
7) I can't remember if I've talked about my new electric pencil sharpener. But I got a good one and I love it already!
8) After reading Bookmammal's blog, I think I'm going to use a book she loved as my book group selection.
9) Watching kids who are plugged into their iPods makes me nostalgic for my old Walkman. I was always plugged in.
10) A foot massage would be great right now.

Oooohhh!!! I so hope you like Still Life With Breadcrumbs! I wish I could come to your book club--but that would be quite the commute! Please let me know how it goes if you do decide to read it.

Ok, I have no clue what at Ott Light is....
I still use my Walkman now and again. It's the only way I can listen to the AM broadcast of Cub games on the go. And trust me, you don't miss yours. It's amazing how bulky that sucker feels. Like walking a dinosaur on a leash.
