Do you read mystery novels? If so, why? Is it the mysteries themselves that appeal to you? The puzzle-solving? The murders? Or why don’t you read them? What about them doesn’t appeal?

I almost think mystery is my favorite genre. I love getting lost in the tangled web of red-herrings and daring sleuths! It's not so much the murder, as I cut my teeth on Trixie Belden and Nancy Drew, but there is nothing like a good mystery. I subscribed to Ellery Queen Magazine when I was in high school and loved the different detective shows on television (Quincy, Columbo, Magnum, P.I.).

I love mysteries too. I like trying to solve it before I get all the clues. Sometimes I can't help myself and I read the last page. That is the good thing about the Nook....harder to flip to the back page

I don't read many mysteries now (not sure why!) but in HS I used to love Agatha Christie--and I subscribed to Alfred Hitchcock's short story magazine for awhile. And--I used to LOVE watching Columbo with my parents on Sunday nights!
