Do you still get excited about new books as you did when you were little? In general? New books in particular, like from a favorite author? Or do you look at all new, unread books with the same level of anticipation?
When I was little, almost all of my books were library books--I wasn't aware of new books then. I get super excited now when my favorite authors publish. Sometimes when I read about new books from reviews I want to rush out and get them, but I tend to go by price. I would say I get more excited about books now than when I was a kid and I share that enthusiasm with my friends. We're a bunch of book nerds. In a good way.

As I recall, I mostly had library books as a kid...so maybe that is why I have such childish delight now...LOL.

I have always loved books and they make me feel safe when I have several of them going. Lately, I've taken to listening to audible books and love that.
I'm about to embark on Stephen King's newest "Mr. Mercedes" - we'll see how it goes.
