Today's prompt: What is the best gift you have ever given?
This might be the year for the best gift I've ever given! I got my parents tickets to see Mannheim Steamroller in concert. They were so excited and made quite an event of it. It seems weird to be finished with their gifts, though, because they are the gifts I am usually stressed about. They have everything and don't need anything, they tend to pick up what they want, which leaves little left for gift givers. But this year I was able to do something really special. I can't wait to hear all about it. (The concert was last night!)

I LOVE Mannheim Steamroller! I usually get my Dad one of their CDs every year for either Christmas or his birthday. What a wonderful gift!
My parents sound like your parents. So hard to buy for. Personally, I've resorted to gift baskets, but I like your idea better!
The tough people on your gift list bring out your resourcefulness and imagination. Anyone could have chosen the MS tickets, but you did, and look how happy they are. Atta girl!
